The Wallabies will begin their 2026 campaign in front of a full house with confirmation today that tickets are officially sold out for the Australia’s first home Test against Ireland at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, July 4th.

After breaking the all-time home attendance record in 2025, the Wallabies will open the inaugural Nations Championship tournament in front of a packed Sydney crowd as momentum builds towards next year’s epic Rugby World Cup in Australia.

The Nations Championship opener marks the first time the Wallabies have hosted Ireland in Sydney since 2018 and continues a 99-year-old rivalry between the two nations spanning 39 Test matches.

Rugby Australia Chief Executive Officer Phil Waugh says to sell out Allianz Stadium a month before kick-off is an important milestone and a powerful reflection of the connection this Wallabies team has built with the Australian public.

He says there is nothing quite like the way Australians rally behind the gold jersey and when the nation comes together, fills their stadiums and proudly wears the gold, it creates an atmosphere that lifts their players, inspires the communities and ignites the dreams of the next generation of Wallabies and Wallaroos watching from the stands.

Tickets are selling fast for the Wallabies’ remaining home Tests in 2026 against France (Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, July 11th), Italy (HBF Park, Perth, July 18th), Japan (Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville, August 15th), South Africa (Optus Stadium, Perth, September 27th) and New Zealand (Accor Stadium, Sydney, October 17th) as well as Ireland’s Nations Championship clash with Japan at Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium on July 11th.
