Mohamed Salah scored a stunning late goal to help Egypt beat Benin 3-1 in extra time and reach the Afcon quarter-finals.
Salah was quiet for most of the game but struck in the 124th minute with a curling shot from outside the box.
Egypt had earlier led through Marwan Attia and regained the advantage with Yasser Ibrahim’s header in extra time.
They will now face either Ivory Coast or Burkina Faso on Sunday at 7am.
