Real Madrid edge Atletico 2-1 to set up El Clasico final

Real Madrid is through to the Spanish Super Cup final after a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid.

Federico Valverde opened the scoring just 77 seconds in with a stunning long-range free-kick, before Rodrygo added a second in the 55th minute.

Atletico pulled one back through Alexander Sorloth, but Real held on to set up the EL Clasico final against Barcelona at 7am Monday in Saudi Arabia.
