New South Wales have produced a stunning 30-12 victory over Queensland at Suncorp Stadium to seal the 2026 State of Origin shield.
After being outplayed in Sydney and heavily beaten in Melbourne, the Blues responded in the decider with a five-try performance to silence the home crowd.
Nathan Cleary led the way for NSW, scoring two tries and kicking five goals from five attempts.
Cleary was also awarded the Wally Lewis Medal as player of the series.
The Blues controlled much of the first half, with Cleary directing play while Mitchell Moses repeatedly pushed Queensland back with his kicking game.
Cleary opened the scoring after stepping past Kurt Capewell and powering through the Maroons defence.
NSW extended their lead after a strong attacking move involving Liam Martin, Stephen Crichton and Mark Nawaqanitawase ended with Cleary scoring his second try.
Cameron Murray then crossed to push the Blues further ahead as NSW took control of the contest.
Queensland responded through Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow after Cameron Munster created an opportunity late in the first half.
The match also saw NSW captain James Tedesco leave the field for a Head Injury Assessment following a collision with Briton Nikora just before half-time.
NSW held on to complete one of the major upsets in State of Origin history and secure the series with a 30-12 win.
