Having two new debutants at the Singapore 7s, like Douglas Daveta, who is known for his high energy, and Nacani Bogirisoko, who brings skill and physicality, is a major boost for the team.
This was shared by Fiji Airways National 7s coach Osea Kolinisau from Singapore today.
Kolinisau says the team is prepared and ready for the Singapore 7s, adding that they will focus on taking the tournament one game at a time.
He says the players have settled in well and are working effectively off the field to maintain focus and discipline ahead of the weekend’s matches.
Kolinisau adds that maintaining strong performances and finishing games well will be key objectives, as Fiji enters the tournament as defending champions.
Fiji has been drawn into a challenging pool and will face Great Britain at 4.32pm next Saturday, followed by Spain at 7.58pm and South Africa at 11.46pm on the same day.
