Arsenal secured a 1–0 victory against Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium to move back to the top of the Premier League.
The winning goal came in the 27th minute and was scored from the penalty spot.
Arsenal had more chances in the second half, hitting the post twice, but couldn’t extend their lead.
The result puts Arsenal two points ahead of Manchester City and keeps their title hopes strong heading into the busy festive season.
