Former All Blacks great Brad Thorn has assured Wallabies coach Michael Cheika there is no lack of respect for his team from the world champions.
Cheika said last weekend the current All Blacks did not respect the Wallabies.
Thorn, who has played league for Australia and rugby for New Zealand and is now coaching with the Queensland Reds says there is a big culture of respect in the All Blacks.
Thorn says respect in the All Blacks went beyond just their opponents.
Thorn suggested the Cheika "clown" portrayal was a media beat‑up rather than anything personal or to do with the All Blacks.
