The Fiji Surfing Association has organised a two day Level 1 Coaching Course at The Beachouse resort in the Coral Coast this weekend.
Fiji Surfing National coach Ian Portingale says this is a great opportunity for those who want to engage in surf coaching to get Level 1 coaching accreditation.
Portingale says the course covers a lot of skill development, lesson structure and first response surf rescue.
He says the Fiji Surfing Association as well as junior surfers need more trained coaches to ensure that development continues.
The Fiji Surfing Association Annual General Meeting will also be held at The Beachouse resort in the Coral Coast tomorrow.
