The Melbourne Storm’s succession planning for life after their current crop of champions is in full swing, with the club locking down the long term replacements for Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater.
While Cronk will leave the club at season’s end and off‑contract Slater weighs up his future, Melbourne have re‑signed rising stars Brandon Smith, Brodie Croft and Jahrome Hughes, as well as injured outside back Cheyse Blair all who are considered long term replacements for leaving Stars.
Meanwhile heading into round 21 of the NRL, the Storm will take on the Sea Eagles at 4pm Sunday.
