Solomon Islands Kurukurus Futsal beats New Caledonia 5-3 in Melanesian Futsal Cup

The Solomon Islands Kurukurus Futsal side has beaten New Caledonia 5-3 in the second game of the Extra Supermarket Melanesian Futsal Cup tournament at the Vodafone Arena.

The Kurukurus staged an impressive performance in an exciting encounter tonight.

In other matches, Vanuatu will face the Solomon Islands at 4pm tomorrow, followed by the game between Fiji and New Caledonia at 7pm.

New Caledonia will face Vanuatu at 4pm on Friday followed by Fiji taking on the Solomon Islands at 7pm.

The third and fourth playoffs will be held on Saturday at 2pm while the main final is at 5pm.

Meanwhile, the Vanuatu Futsal side leveled up with a draw by 2-2 against the Digicel National Futsal side in the opening match today.
