Marist edges Grammar 25-16 in intense Southern Zone Rugby U18 battle

The anticipated under-18 match of the Vodafone Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby competition between Marist Brothers High School and Suva Grammar School, lived up to the expectations of the fans and supporters who were present on the day to witness it.

In an intense battle, Marist came out on top in the end with a 25-16 win.

The match was played at Thompson Park in Navua, and both teams gave their all on a neutral ground.

Meanwhile, in another match played at Thompson Park yesterday, Namosi Secondary School beat Ratu Latianara College 19-12 in the U19 grade.

In the U18 Weet-Bix Raluve competition, AOG High School won by default against Kalabu Secondary School, MGM High beat Naitasiri High School 24-12, Ratu Latianara College beat Church College 10-0 and Lomary Secondary School thumped Ratu Simione Matanitobua College.
