Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has reached a deal with Spain on a one‑year suspended sentence in a long‑running tax fraud case.

Mourinho was also fined about 2 million pounds according to Spain's El Mundo newspaper.

The 55-year-old was accused of owing nearly 3.3 million pounds in undeclared image rights revenue for 2011 and 2012 as the Real Madrid manager.

According to Reuters, he is not expected to serve any time in jail because Spanish law states that a sentence of under two years for a first offence can be served on probation.

Looking at the English Premier League matches, Tottenham will play the undefeated Liverpool next Saturday at 11.30pm while defending champions Manchester City will take on Fulham at 2am next Sunday.

In the points table, Liverpool remains in first place with 12 points and 8 goals differential, Chelsea is in second place with 12 points and 7 goals differential while Watford is in third place with 12 points and 6 goals differential.

The top three teams are the only teams who have so far not lost any of their matches in the tournament.
