Swire Shipping Fijian Drua lock Sailosi Vukalokalo says the biggest challenge he had growing up was that he was too skinny.

Vukalokalo stated this to fijivillage News saying while he had the height for his position as a lock, it meant he had to put in a lot more effort in the gym.

The lanky lock says he started playing rugby when he was 8-years-old, then he played under 14 till 17 for Queen Victoria School, and played for Marist Brothers High School in the Deans under 18 competition.

He says he then joined the Suva Colts team after high school before moving on to the Suva main team and then being drafted into the Drua development squad last season and now he is in the main squad.

Vukalokalo says growing up, his dream is to don the Fiji jersey but his goal for this season is to make his Drua debut.

The Drua start their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific campaign against the Blues on February 24th in Auckland.
