Top soccer coach Gurjit Singh has been appointed as the head of the coaching panel for the Labasa soccer team.
He will guide Labasa in the Inkk Mobile BOG which kicks off next Friday at Subrail Park.
Singh will work with current Labasa soccer coach Ronil Lal, however it is not known whether Singh will remain with Labasa throughout the season.
Known as the 'guru', Gurjit Singh has given many memorable victories to teams like Navua, Nadi, Suva and Labasa.
Singh witnessed Labasa's 2‑1 victory over Dreketi in the Vodafone Premier League yesterday, however he is not impressed with the Babasiga Lions.
Singh says fitness and goal scoring is a big problem.
The Inkk Mobile BOG kicks off next Friday at Subrail Park and Labasa is pooled with Nadi, Suva and Rakiraki.
