Leicester striker Jamie Vardy's appeal over his red card in Sunday's 2‑2 draw with Stoke City has been rejected by the English Football Association.
The 29‑year‑old England international will receive an immediate three‑match ban and miss games against Everton, West Ham and Middlesbrough.
He was dismissed in the 28th minute for a tackle on Mame Diouf.
Vardy jumped and made the tackle with two feet.
Leicester City will take on Everton in the English Premier League at 4am Tuesday.
