Fiji Airways Drua hooker Samu Suguturaga has been cited for alleged biting during his side's debut in Australia's National Rugby Championship against Brisbane City.
Suguturaga will face a NRC judicial hearing tomorrow night after allegedly biting his opposite number, Brisbane City skipper Andrew Ready, on the ear in a scrum.
Ready reported the incident to the on‑field referee immediately during his team's 45‑36 opening round win at Ballymore on Saturday.
He says he lucky he was wearing a mouthguard otherwise he would have had the whole ear.
