Ryan Crotty and Scott Barrett have been ruled out for the Super Rugby final match against the Jaguares due to injury.
The Crusaders announced this morning Crotty is out for eight weeks after fracturing his thumb while Barrett, on the other hand, fractured the second metacarpal at the base of his index finger.
His return to play time-frame is up to five or six weeks.
It is not just a blow for the Crusaders, but also the All Blacks, who kickoff the shortened Rugby Championship in less than three weeks.
The All Blacks extended squad will be announced tonight.
The Super Rugby final will be played at 7.35pm Saturday.
