Bulikula still has a chance to qualify for WRLWC 2026

Despite their heartbreaking 16-12 loss to the Fetu Samoa in the final of the Pacific Women’s Bowl Championship, the Vodafone Fiji Bulikula still has a chance to qualify for the 2026 Women’s Rugby League World Cup.

The Bulikula will be representing the Pacific in the 2025 World Rugby League Series where they will face Ireland, Nigeria and the winner of America’s qualifier, where Canada, Jamaica, and the USA are competing.

The Series will be played at the end of next year.

The winner of the series will claim the last spot that is yet to be filled for the World Cup.

Meanwhile, as Pacific Bowl winners, Fetu Samoa will travel to Sydney to take on the third-placed Pacific Cup team on November 10 for a place in next year's Pacific Women’s Cup Championship.

Samoa will play the loser of today’s match between the New Zealand Kiwi Ferns and Papua New Guinea Orchids in Port Moresby.
