Battle of Fijian number 8s in Blues versus Brumbies tonight

It will be a battle of two Fijian number 8s in tonight’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific’s first semi final when Hoskins Sotutu of the Blues comes up against Rob Valetini of the Brumbies at Eden Park.

The two players have been phenomenal this year for their respective teams and fans should expect some physical battle between them tonight.

Hoskins is the son of former Flying Fijians utility back Waisake Sotutu and is the younger brother of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s Strength and Conditioning coach Eroni Sotutu.

Rob is the younger brother of Fijian Drua’s second five-eighth Kemueli Valetini.

They have both been named to start for their teams tonight and fans will be expecting to see some physical battle between the two players.

The Blues will host the Brumbies at 7.05 tonight at Eden Park in the first semi final.

In the second semi final tomorrow, the Hurricanes will host the Chiefs at 4.35pm.
