Australian Police have withdrawn two charges against Wallabies player Scott Higginbotham after extensive negotiations with his lawyer.
Higginbotham who has links to Fiji was originally charged with assaulting police and unlawfully being in a police establishment during an incident in Brisbane in February this year.
He was listed to be sentenced this morning, but the prosecution dropped the charges during a brief hearing in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
Meanwhile, the Wallabies will host Argentina at 10pm while the All Blacks will host the Springboks at 7.35 tomorrow night.
