Alfreda Fisher to lead Fijiana out against Wallaroos

The Vodafone Fijiana XVs squad to take on the Wallaroos has been named with Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua flanker Alfreda Fisher captaining the side in their first Test of the year as they build up towards the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 in England in August.

The front row is made up of Salanieta Buli, and Anasimeci Koroivata at props with Keleni Marawa at hooker.

Chiefs Manawa lock Jade Coates pairs up with former Drua team mate Mereoni Nakesa, with Fisher at blindside flanker and Adi Salaseini Railumu at openside with former 7s rep Rusila Nagasau at No. 8.

Kolora Lomani is at halfback with Salanieta Kinita at flyhalf.

Aloesi Nakoci and Repeka Tove are on the wings with Josivini Naihamu and Vani Arei at centres with Luisa Tisolo at fullback.

On the bench are Bitila Tawake, Lavenia Gray, Tiana Robanakadavu, Merevesi Ofakimalino, Karalaini Naisewa, Setaita Railumu, Ema Adivitaloga, and Atelaite Buna.

The Fijiana play the Wallaroos at 5pm Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
