Three top players are highly likely to miss the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants due to disciplinary reasons.
The players are Rewa’s Setareki Hughes and Amani Makoe and Ba’s Samuela Nabenia.
Fiji FA CEO, Mohammad Yusuf, says that these players had failed to turn up for the national team camp prior to the Malaysian Tour.
Yusuf says they are hopeful they can have a disciplinary committee meeting this week where the players get a chance to defend themselves, however if they fail to get the hearing, the players will miss the pool games of the BOG.
The pool games of the BOG will begin this Friday at Churchill Park where defending champions Rewa will play Suva at 1.30pm, Nadi will play Dreketi at 3.30pm, Lautoka will play Tavua at 6pm while Ba will play Labasa at 8pm.
