Moana Pasifika and Digicel Pacific are pleased to announce that they have renewed their sponsorship of the team, cementing their place on the jersey for the 2024 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Digicel Pacific has a long history of supporting Pasifika sport and Digicel TV has been delivering dynamic rugby viewing for fans since 2016.

The partnership strengthens Moana Pasifika and Digicel Pacific’s relationship, going into the team’s third season where they will take a game back to the Motherland in Tonga on May 4th.

The leading digital services and entertainment provider is all about striving and achieving better together.

Moana Parsifika also knows that championing the power of Pasifika people is only possible when they work for the common good.

Moana Pasifika believes this renewal is a massive boost for rugby in the Pacific.

Moana Pasifika CEO, Pelenato Sakalia, says as one of their foundational partners, they are very excited to continue this important partnership with Digicel Pacific.

Sakalia says their focus on serving the people of the Pacific is very much aligned with Moana Pasifika’s objectives to benefit the Pacific nations.

He says they look forward to continuing to grow their relationship.

Digicel Pacific Regional HUB CEO, Shally Jannif, says Digicel Pacific is proud to continue their partnership with Moana Pasifika rugby side, reaffirming their commitment to supporting the development of talent in the Pacific and promoting rugby excellence in our communities.

Jannif says rugby holds a special place in the hearts of Pacific communities, serving as a unifying force that brings people together.

She says they look forward to an outstanding Super Rugby Pacific season with Moana Pasifika and realise the vital role sports play in fostering community spirit and celebrating our home grown talent on the global stage.
