Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side Assistant Coach Jerry Tuwai says their aim is to win the tournament in Spain and improve their standings on the World Championship ladder.

With Fiji currently in fifth place following the Hong Kong 7s tournament, preparations are now underway for the Valladolid 7s at the end of the month.

Tuwai says that coming into his new role, he is focusing on addressing areas the team lacked in during previous tournaments.

He says they have been facing problems in the breakdown, discipline, and the mental preparation of players, which is something he will work to improve.
