Rewa FC coach Tevita Waranivalu says the team’s preparations for the OFC Men's Champions League have been progressing well, with the side now in the final stages of its build-up ahead of its opening match against Vanuatu’s Galaxy FC this Saturday.
Waranivalu saysthe team has been working hard, with the main focus on improving its finishing.
Waranivalu says the team has been focusing more on finishing off chances, as Rewa has been a consistent side throughout the league but finishing has been the main concern.
With Rewa set to represent Fiji on home soil, Waranivalu says the expectations are high for the team to perform in front of local supporters.
He says he has reminded the players to remain calm under pressure, adding that representing the country, the club and their families in front of their own crowd is something they should feel proud about.
Rewa FC will face Galaxy FC of Vanuatu this Saturday at 3pm in their opening OFC Men's Champions League match at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
