Rewa FC suffered a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Vanuatu's Galaxy FC in their opening match of the OFC Men's Champions League at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Galaxy FC took a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Andrew Malakai opened the scoring for Galaxy FC before William Dos Santos Medina added to the lead, while Gabrieli Matanisiga scored Rewa's only goal of the match.
Rewa players Gabrieli Matanisiga, Tevita Waranaivalu, Sitiveni Rakai and Merril Nand were all shown yellow cards during the match.
Galaxy FC dominated the second half, with William Dos Santos Medina completing a hat-trick to seal an impressive opening-day victory for the Vanuatu champions.
Meanwhile, in the day's other match, Lae City FC of Papua New Guinea defeated Tupapa Maraerenga of the Cook Islands 4-1.
Rewa will now face Tupapa Maraerenga at 4pm Wednesday at 4R Stadium Govind Park in Ba.
