Speaking during the post-match press conference, Jackson says the Drua were outplayed in the opening stages of the Super Rugby Pacific clash, with the Waratahs racing away early before surviving a second-half fightback from the home side.
He says the first 20 minutes were unacceptable and far below the standards the team had prepared for during the week.

The coach admits the team lacked energy and failed to execute defensive plans against a youthful Waratahs side that was missing several experienced players.
Jackson also reflected on the impact of the recent bye week, saying the break may have disrupted the team’s momentum rather than helping them recover.
He says the boys needed a rest, but then found out that a rest was not ideal for the boys.
Despite speculation surrounding player departures and external distractions, Jackson dismissed those factors as excuses and said the responsibility rested entirely with him.
Drua captain Temo Mayanavanua also admitted the side’s work rate in the first half was not good enough.
While acknowledging Jackson’s willingness to accept responsibility, the captain says players must also take ownership of the performance.

Mayanavanua also praised the Waratahs for executing their game plan effectively, saying the visitors exposed weaknesses in the Drua’s performance.
The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have dropped down to 10th place with 20 points after they were thumped 50-35 by the Waratahs yesterday.
The Fijian Drua will travel to Perth to play the Western Force on Saturday at 9.35pm.
In other games, the Crusaders host the Chiefs at 7.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will meet the Brumbies at 9.35pm, Moana Pasifika will face the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday, while the Hurricanes play the Highlanders at 7.05pm.
