England have survived a dramatic Mexico fightback to seal a thrilling 3-2 win with 10 men and book their place in the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals.
Jude Bellingham scored twice in the 36th and 38th minutes before Julián Quiñones pulled one back for Mexico in the 42nd minute, with England leading 2-1 at half-time.
England were reduced to 10-men when Jarell Quansah was sent off in the 54th minute, but Harry Kane converted a penalty six minutes later to extend the lead to 3-1.
Raúl Jiménez scored from the spot in the 69th minute to set up a tense finish, but England held on for the 3-2 win.
Meanwhile, Brazil are also heading home after their dramatic 2-1 loss to Norway.
England will now face Norway this Sunday at 9am.
In tomorrow’s matches, Portugal will face Spain at 7am, while the USA will take on Belgium at Seattle Stadium at 12pm.
