Flying Fijians forward Peceli Yato has signed a new contract with Clermont, staying with the Top 14 leaders until 2020.
The 23-year-old has won five caps for Fiji.
Yato’s original deal was meant to expire in 2018, but the back‑row has now signed on for two further seasons.
He made multiple appearances this season in both the Top 14 and Champions Cup.
Yato says he still has a lot of experience to acquire and also needs to progress mentally to become more effective.
He says Clermont has become my second family and he is very happy to be part of it for the next three seasons.
