Former All Blacks 7s team captain and current HSBC 7s series commentator Karl Te Nana has selected Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team flyer, Alasio Naduva as one of the players to watch out for at the Hamilton 7s.
Naduva was instrumental last year as Fiji won the Hamilton 7s title as he scored a hat-trick of tries in the final and he was also awarded the Player of the final award.
Former England 7s player Rob Vickerman says that he likes the fact that Naduva is known as the ‘ Fijian Scooter’.
Vickerman says that he is an absolute weapon when he is playing rugby.
He also says that captain Kalione Nasoko was also spectacular in the final against South Africa.
Vickerman says that the way Nasoko plays rugby, he almost makes a mockery of the game as he is that good.
