Air Pacific Fiji Warriors coach Inoke Male has made 8 changes from the side that lost 23-20 to the Fiji Barbarians for this afternoon’s second round of the Pacific Rugby Cup against Upolu Samoa.

Male has brought in a replacement at tighthead prop with former national U20 prop Manasa Saulo getting his first start for the Warriors, NZ based Tuapati Talemaitoga starts ahead of Vereniki Sauturaga at hooker, Manoa Tamaya will play at lock while Kelepi Ketedromo has been brought in at number 8 for Mosese Volavola.

In the backline, another former U20 rep Nikola Matawalu will start at halfback with Koroi Yavala in the number 10 jumper and Paula Karatu with Mesulame Soga are the other changes made by the coaching staff.

FRU's technical adviser Joe Barakat, who is helping the Warriors and Barbarians team, said that our players need to move away from the 7s rugby mentality where they do not have a lot of phases in their game plan.
