Tailevu 2 matches away

The Tailevu rugby side is just two matches away from keeping the prestigious Farebrother Sullivan Cup trophy, for the 2007 season.

Yesterday, the Inoke Male coached side ended Nadi's unbeaten run for the season with a 13 to 8 win.

Tailevu will now defend the cup against Tavua next week with Lautoka as the last challenge.

Both teams were locked at 3- all at the break, but Tailevu came back strongly in the second half and scored two brilliant tries while Nadi scored a try in the dying minutes.
