Sevu Reece is the Super Rugby Rookie of the Year

Sevu Reece is the Super Rugby Rookie of the Year.

Reece has been in impressive form this season for the Crusaders as he has scored 13 tries in 11 appearances.

Reece amassed 19 ‘rookie watch’ points across the 2019 season to nudge Blues loose forward Tom Robinson for the title by just two points.

The Crusaders will take on the Highlanders at 7.35pm Friday at Rugby League Park in Christchurch, the Jaguares will meet the Chiefs in Argentina at 10.05am Saturday, the Hurricanes will meet the Bulls at Wellington Regional Stadium at 7.35pm Saturday while the Brumbies take on the Sharks at 10.05pm Saturday in Canberra.
