RKS and Tailevu North crowned Tailevu Zone champions
Tailevu North College and Ratu Kadavulevu School winners of the Tailevu Zone

Ratu Kadavulevu School and Tailevu North College have been crowned champions for the 2019 Tailevu Zone.

Ratu Kadavulevu School collected a total of 42 gold, 36 silver and 20 bronze, rivals Queen Victoria School in 2nd place with 4 gold, 12 silver and 18 bronze while Tailevu North College came in 3rd with 1 gold, 3 silver and 10 bronze.

Tailevu North College won the girls division with 24 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze, Dawasamu Secondary School came in 2nd with 5 gold, 15 silver and 15 bronze while Nayala High School in 3rd place with 4 gold, 10 silver and 4 bronze.

Kolinio Radrudru of RKS was named the best athlete collecting gold in 100m, 200m and 4× 100m while the best female athlete went to Mereseini Tinai of Nayala High School for winning the 100m, 200m and the 4×100m in the senior girl division.

Tomorrow the Suva Zone 1 will commence at the ANZ National Stadium.
