All Black Jordie Barrett

An apparent case of mistaken house identity saw police called as All Black Jordie Barrett sat eating McDonald's in the wrong house.

The 21‑year‑old had played in the Hurricanes 30‑14 loss to the Highlanders on Friday night.

Barrett fronted media this morning in Wellington, saying: "I was not intoxicated".

He has apologised for the incident.

According to the Hurricanes, by 5am on Saturday, Barrett was with his friend Sam Casey entering an unlocked house which they thought was where one of their friend's was hosting a party.

Upon finding it empty, they sat down to eat McDonald's they had purchased on the way to the house, at which point they were confronted by two women whose house it was.

As soon as realised they were in the wrong house they apologised and left the house.

The two women called Police who arrived after Jordie Barrett and his friend left.

Looking at super rugby match results, the Rebels beat the Blues 20-10, the Crusaders defeated the Chiefs 34-20 and the Waratahs beat the Reds 52-41.

The Sunwolves will meet the Brumbies at 6.05pm today.
