With 16 days to go for the World Netball Championships to kick off in New Zealand, the Fiji netball team has been seeded eighth in the championship.
The Vilimaina Davu coached side gets the top eight spot after successfully defending their Pacific Games gold medal in Samoa last month.
The side is currently training in Australia and Davu will be happy to go into the tournament with the tag of underdogs.
While most of the teams have announced their squad for the championship, Davu said she will name her final 12 players next week after returning from Australia.
The Silver Ferns are top favourites to win the World Netball Championships at home while Australia is ranked second. Jamaica will go in as the third ranked team with England fourth, South Africa fifth, Samoa sixth and Barbados seeded 7th.
The championship will kick off on the 10th November in Auckland.
