The Namosi Rugby team was today awarded $10,000 from QAQA as recognition of winning the 2017 HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy.

Namosi beat Rewa 41-29 to defend the Farebrother after claiming it from Suva with a 20-18 win.

Qaqa Brand Manager Viliame Tadranu says this is the first time for the Qaqa brand to sponsor Namosi and the win will enable them to continue their partnership.

The Namosi Rugby team signed a 3 year contract with Qaqa along with few other Fiji Rugby household teams including Naitasiri, Suva and Nadi.

Namosi coach Akuila Nasi says that this bonus will be set aside to help the team prepare for next season.
