Liverpool has won the UEFA Champions League

Liverpool has won the UEFA Champions League after beating Tottenham 2-0.

Mohamed Salah took a penalty shot in the second minute of the match and Divock Origi scored the second goal.

Salah says the result was not from individual effort but the whole team worked hard to achieve victory.

Jurgen Klopp is the fourth Liverpool manager to win the European Cup.

Tottenham and Liverpool met in the first all‑English Champions League final since 2008.

Tottenham had never reached a Champions League or European Cup final before.
