The Lautoka soccer team has created history as they have qualified for their first ever final of the OFC Champions League.

They beat Marist FC of Solomon Islands 1-0 in the second leg semi final match in Honiara.

Praneel Naidu was the hero for the team as he scored the winning goal in the second half.

Lautoka goal-keeper Benamino Mateinaqara made some good saves in the match for his team.

Lautoka will now play Team Wellington in the final next month.

The final will be played on a home and away basis.

The first leg will be played on the 12th while the second leg will be played on the 19th of next month.

Meanwhile, Team Wellington drew 2-all with Auckland City in their semi-final match and Team Wellington qualified on away goal rules.
