The Lautoka soccer team will go into tonight’s Pillays Garments Champions league match against Ba with only one aim and that is to get maximum points.
Lautoka soccer mid-fielder, Alvin Avinesh said the Blues cannot afford a draw or a loss tonight as they are on the verge of being knocked out of the competition.
Avinesh said it’s time for his players to lift their performance as Ba will not give them an easy match.
Rewa and Ba currently lead the Champions league points table with five points, Navua sit with three points while Lautoka are bottom placed with two points.
At 7pm tonight, Ba will take on Lautoka at Govind Park and at 6.30pm, Rewa will host Navua at Ratu Cakobau Park.
Extensive live reports of both matches can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
