Labasa soccer team striker Roy Krishna is the top bet to win the 2008 Fiji FA Footballer of the Year award.
Krishna, who plays for Waitakere United in New Zealand, is the first soccer player from Fiji to play in a World Club playoff.
He was also the star for Fiji last season when he scored two goals against the New Zealand All Whites in a World Cup qualifying round, which Fiji won after 24 years.
Krishna is nominated together with Nadi's Ben Amino, Navua's Rajneel Chand, Lautoka's Jone Vono Junior and Tailevu Naitasiri's Lemeki Nakavu.
Meanwhile there will also be awards for the Coach, Referee, Administrator and Junior Footballer of the Year.
The Fiji FA awards will be held tomorrow at the Vineyard Palace in Suva, starting at 7pm.
