Top soccer defender Samuela Kautoga has joined the Rewa soccer team in the transfer window from the Ba soccer team.
Kautoga made his debut for his new side in their 2-0 win over Nadi over the weekend.
Rewa soccer president Nazil Buksh says it is a big gain for the side as they prepare for their debut in the OFC Champions League.
They have also acquired the services of Nadi’s Vuniuci Tikomaimereke.
Kautoga has also played for the Lautoka and Labasa districts in the past.
Meanwhile, the Ba soccer team has been boosted by the return of former players Praneel Naidu, Abbu Zahid and Remeru Tekiata.
In the Vodafone Premier League this weekend Labasa will play Dreketi at 1.30pm Saturday, while at 3pm Sunday Suva will host Nadi and Rewa will host new comers Rakiraki.
