Marist Brothers High School sprinter Joseva Tabakaucoro is the athlete to watch at this year’s Coca Cola Games.

Tabakaucoro broke the Junior boys 200 metres record last year with a time of 22.61 seconds.

The old record was set by Apolosi Koroi of QVS back in 2014 with the time of 22.64 seconds.

The 17-year-old is the younger brother of Pacific sprint king, Banuve Tabakaucoro.

Joseva will be moving up to the Intermediate Boys Grade this year where he is expected to go up against James Cox of Natabua High School in the 200 metres event.

Tabakaucoro will be running tomorrow in the Marist Interhouse meet at the ANZ Stadium.

Marist have five weeks to prepare for the Suva Zone 2 which will be held on the 31st of March.

Meanwhile the Coca Cola Games will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of April at the ANZ Stadium.
