Ba soccer sensation Sani Issa has been removed from the country.
Director Immigration Nemani Vuniwaqa confirmed that Issa's visa expired earlier this month.
Vuniwaqa said Suva soccer had applied for Issa's visa in October last year and he should have been playing for Suva.
He said when Issa was transferred from Suva to Ba the Immigration department was not informed as this was only an internal transfer.
Vuniwaqa added that this breaches Issa's terms and conditions of visa and according to that removal procedures were followed to remove him from the country.
Meanwhile Ba soccer Manager David Ali said Issa has not been removed from the country but has gone to Nigeria to celebrate EID with his family and to get a new passport as his passport book is full.
Ali added that Issa will be back for the Ba team for the next National Football League season which starts in September.
