Former Wallaby admits current Wallabies team cannot defeat the All Blacks

Former Australian wing Clyde Rathbone.

Former Australian wing Clyde Rathbone suggested the Wallabies are delusional and challenged them to admit they cannot beat the All Blacks under normal circumstances.

Analyzing Australia's shock 42‑8 loss to the All Blacks in Sydney and looking at where things might go in the Bledisloe Cup rematch in Wellington tomorrow night, Rathbone suggested the Wallabies were being burdened by expectations.

Rathbone says the Wallabies were confident going into the first match they talked themselves into the much vaunted 'winning mindset', forty‑two points later reality came crashing home in the form of a record loss to the All Blacks.

Rathbone expressed frustration that heading into Wellington, nobody within the Wallabies ranks had come out and spoken plainly about their chances.

The All Blacks will host the Wallabies at 7.35pm tomorrow.
