The Fiji Airways National team kicked-off the Dubai 7s on a high after thrashing Russia 50-7.
Fiji led 26-7 in the breather with Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu and Kalione Nasoke grabbing a try each in the first half.
The Gareth Baber coached side started the second half strongly with Jerry Tuwai getting his second try.
Impact players came in the second half and showed their class with John Stewart, Apenesa Cakaubalavu and Eroni Sau getting a try each to take the final score to 50-7.
Fiji’s next game will be against Wales at 10.06 tonight.
In the earlier matches, Argentina beat USA 22-14, New Zealand outclassed Samoa 24-12 while Australia defeated Wales 38-7.
