Seasoned campaigners Mere Rabuka-Neiliko and Matila Waqanidrola will be competing in their 4th Netball World Cup in August this year.

They have been named in the Fiji Netball team alongside Alisi Naqiri and Episake Kahatoka.

The midcourt players are Alesi Waqa, Jane Costello, Sera Dakuitoga and Nina Cirikisuva while the shooters are Taraima Mitchell, Maria Lutua, Una Rauluni and Afa Rusivakula.

National Coach Kate Carpenter said the team is a mixture of youth and experienced players and except for Naqiri, the rest of the players have featured for Fiji in international test matches.

The team will also play against the Silver Ferns in a test match in Wellington on 23rd July.

The Netball World Cup will be held in Sydney from August 7th to 16th.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Pearls are now into their final phase of preparations for the Pacific Games before they leave for Papua New Guinea on the 11th of next month.

They will meet Vanuatu in their first pool match on the 13th of July and meet Cook Islands on the 15th.

The semifinals will be held on the 17th while the netball final will be staged on the 18th of July.
