The Fiji Airways Men's 7s team has sent their well wishes to the Vodafone Fiji Bati ahead of their semifinal clash against World Champions Australian Kangaroos in the Rugby League World Cup semifinal.
Coach Gareth Baber and his players were motivated about the Bati’s gutsy performance last weekend and believe this will set a platform for them ahead of the 2017/2018 World Sevens Series which starts in Dubai next month.
The Fiji 7s team will be leaving our shores later today.
Last year, Fiji lost to South Africa 26‑14 in the final of the Dubai 7s.
This year they are pooled with Russia, Wales and Australia.
The Dubai 7s will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of next month.
