Defending champions Crusaders lead overall Super Rugby standings after round 3

New Zealand Conference leaders, the Crusaders lead the overall Super Rugby standings with 17 points after Round 3 of the competition.

South African conference leaders, the Bulls are in second place with 13 points on the overall standings while the Rebels who currently lead the Australian conference are third with 12 points.

Recapping the weekend Super Rugby results, the Hurricanes beat the Highlanders 25-22, the Rebels beat the Brumbies 29-26, the Crusaders thumped the Chiefs 57-28, the Blues defeated the Sunwolves 28-20, the Waratahs beat the Reds 29-17, the Lions defeated the Jaguares 47-39 while the Bulls beat the Sharks 37-14.

This week, the Chiefs meet the Hurricanes at 6.35pm Friday while the Waratahs clash with the Brumbies at 8.45pm Friday.

On Saturday, the Stormers meet the Jaguares at 5.10am, the Reds meet the Sunwolves at 4.15pm while the Highlanders play the Crusaders at 6.35pm.

The Lions meet the Rebels at 1.05am Sunday.
