Johnathan Thurston was typically influential in the win despite dealing with some groin issues coming into the game.
Meanwhile, the Brisbane Broncos defeated the Sydney Roosters 31‑12 in the first semi-final.
The Broncos will play the Cowboys in the NRL final at 10.15pm next Sunday.
